The BREED Australia Board has announced a full rental waiver for tenants in their Quakers Hill and Temora Business Centres. At last month’s board meeting, Chairman Steven Brown presided over a unanimous board decision to completely waive rents for the months of April and May 2020 with a review to be completed after this time to reassess needs.
BREED Board Member Nathan Burbridge said the outcome was a microcosm: “where things seem small but have a huge impact”.
Tenants at the business incubator service centres primarily include startups, youth enterprises and entrepreneurs with disabilities who are supported by this announcement. Tenant responses have been overwhelmingly positive.
“Well received and earns a lot of loyalty from my business to the BREED family,” said Nicholas Connellan from Workers Risk & Compensation Specialists.
“As a long-term sole trader of BREED, I cannot thank you enough for providing this breathing space,” said Kerry Ellis from KE Counselling & Coaching.
BREED Australia, a not-for-profit business incubator, is steadfast in assisting start-ups and supporting their community gain meaningful employment. For almost a quarter of a century, BREED has been a Western Suburbs Not for Profit (NFP) community charity connecting people and businesses.
Being a conduit to education, mentorships, serviced offices and business information, BREED Australia is making a difference in Sydney’s Western Suburbs as well as Temora, Regional NSW.
COVID-19 is a huge focus in our world right now, but it is the small events and actions in how we deal with this that will make an impact moving forward.
“BREED will continue supporting their tenants and partners to be resilient and grow into the future, helping yet another generation of people into meaningful employment either for themselves or for others,” Mr Brown said.
