On the 30th of August, we held the second of our Aspiring Entrepreneurs Networking Event series, All About Networking.
The evening was a great success, and our speakers were inspiring – it was also fantastic to meet such an engaged group of aspiring entrepreneurs.
Keynote speaker Jason Walmsley,  National Membership Manager, Bconnected World delivered an engaging and informative presentation on ‘How To Create A Successful Elevator Pitch That Gets You New Leads.’.
Jason Walmsley is passionate about helping small businesses thrive and has over 30 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing. He hasassisted entrepreneurs to succeed in a rapidly growing and competitive marketplace. Jason’s expertise in business ranges from management roles with companies like BBX and Action Coach to running his successful marketing and networking companies throughout the Asia Pacific region, always maintaining a hands-on approach to customer connections.
Jason’s knowledge, experience and insights provided event attendees with greater confidence and skill when networking distilling the most crucial and impactful messaging of what they do.
Jason’s presentation was followed by an amazing interactive panel discussion featuring our three networking expert panelists: Martha Mok, Rebecca Di Noia and BREED Business Partner Devesh Kumar.
Martha Mok is an experienced super-confidence coach specialising in helping women’s confidence in the workplace and in networking, allowing them to speak up and be heard with respect.
Rebecca Di Noia is a Business Advisor at Western Sydney Business Centre and specialises in networking – building and keeping relationships.
Devesh is a Transformation Artist and spoke extensively on the body language of business networking.
The panel discussion allowed attendees to ask our panel speakers many questions and learn from their knowledge and experience.
The evening began and ended with networking, good food and drinks and live music as event attendees, speakers and BREED staff mingled and got to know each other.
BREED Business Partner Sanjeev Mehra was also on hand to provide professional headshots free of charge. This was very popular, with nearly all event attendees as well as speakers taking up the opportunity and obtaining a great headshot for their LinkedIn resumes and websites.
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with registered attendance of 14 people commenting how valuable the evening was overall.
