The countdown is on—just 10 days to go until the Walk Festival – Blacktown! On April 12th and 13th, our community will come together to take steps toward better mental health support, raise crucial funds, and build a stronger, more connected Western Sydney.
Why We Are Walking? ♂️
Mental health struggles are an urgent reality in Australia. Did you know that in the past 12 months, 1 in 7 children and adolescents (ages 4-17) have faced mental health challenges? Or that 1 in 5 Australians experience a mental illness every year? Even more concerning, 9 Australians lose their lives to suicide every day.
This needs to change, and we can be the ones to make it happen. The Walk Festival – Blacktown is about more than just raising awareness—it’s about building community, solidarity, and strength through togetherness. It’s a movement that proves we’re ready to fight for better mental health support, and we need you to be part of it.

The Walk Festival is designed to be inclusive, welcoming walkers of all fitness levels to come together for a cause that truly matters.
Every dollar raised goes directly to funding mental health programs in Western Sydney communities, ensuring that vital support networks continue to grow stronger and more resilient.
