CoBrewed Futures is a free 10-week face-to-face program designed for young people aged 16–25 who are unemployed, disengaged from school, or simply ready to explore a new direction in life.
Delivered in Redfern at the Rebels N Misfits Café, the program blends hospitality training, mindset coaching, entrepreneurship, and mentoring. Participants gain hands-on barista experience in a real café while developing the personal and professional skills needed to thrive.
Build practical skills, confidence and momentum in a real café environment — with mentoring to help you take the next step.
Train as a barista, gain café operations know-how, and learn coffee fundamentals in a live, hands-on setting.
Explore hospitality jobs, retail work, or take your first steps towards starting your own business venture.
Boost your confidence, resilience, and goal-setting skills with our Learning for Good™ framework.
Receive five weeks of one-to-one coaching to help you transition into employment, study or enterprise.
Graduate with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in barista operations and food safety.
Finish the program by presenting your skills, pitching your café project, and connecting with employers and community supporters.
